When someone you love passes away it is so traumatic .
Knowing where to start in organising a funeral is so difficult. Of course a funeral director is your first call.
Many people now choose to have a non religious based funeral. As a celebrant I can be contacted directly, but it is usually through your funeral director. I will be privileged to officiate at the funeral , I meet with the family who is organising things beforehand and create a ceremony based on the information I receive. Who are the family, friends, who was the deceased, what were their characteristics. How did they live their life? What was important to them?
We choose suitable music. Poetry etc. A celebrant led funeral can be in a crematorium, graveside, a hotel or other venue. You can include religion if you wish to do so.
I write the ceremony, send it to you for approval and I officiate the funeral of your loved one, to the highest standard.
As a celebrant I'm here to make this journey a little easier for the family.
One thing is certain this funeral will be about the deceased and many of those attending will learn things they never knew about this person.
